The Home Builders Association of Cumberland County (HBACC) is a local professional trade organization. We are associated with the Home Builders Association of Tennessee (HBAT) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). This structure enables the association to address regulatory issues and ensure representation of the housing industry at all levels of government. Portions of our dues go to support HBAT and NAHB. NAHB works to provide builders and suppliers with keys to the latest developments in materials, construction methods, business management, property management, technology, sales and marketing, so they can conduct their businesses effectively and so the home buyers of this area can count on professionals to build and supply their homes.

The Home Builders Association of Tennessee (HBAT) is a not-for-profit, 2,500 member trade Association comprised of professional builders, developers and associated firms engaged directly or indirectly in homebuilding, remodeling, and light commercial construction. Established in 1960, the HBAT has 14 local associations across the state. The HBAT, along with our locals, are also members of the National Association of Home Builders in Washington, D.C. We are not a regulatory agency. HBAT’s role is to support our affiliate associations throughout the state of Tennessee, be the voice for the housing industry at the state level and act as a liaison between the local and national organizations.
