24/7 Emergency Service

Job completed for Brian P

Completion date: March 3, 2023

Location: Crossville, TN

Why did the customer contact us?

Safety valve failed on fridge water line, it popped off and flooded the kitchen. It has been running for a few hours, they cleaned up as much as they could.

Solutions provided:

The safety valve on the fridge water line broke and flooded the kitchen and into part of the living room. After taking moisture readings, we removed the flooring in the kitchen to begin the drying out process with dehumidifiers. We used moisture readings to see how far the water went into the living room and pulled back the carpet to dry the subfloor underneath. We were able to lay the carpet back after it was dry. We billed their insurance company for the services saving them thousands in out of pocket expenses.
